What’s a quick overview of the process? 

You sign up for the program, complete the questionnaire, hop on a zoom with me for a safety/screening process, wait for an email in your inbox notifying you about a match, go on the first date, hop on a call with me to share feedback, and decide if there’s a second date or onto the next. 

How many q’s are on the intake form? 

110+ questions. The form takes a good 30-40 minutes to fill out so please take it seriously. Best to fill out when you are alone and have time to really think about each question. 

When will I receive the relationship questionnaire? 

After you sign up for the program, you will receive a personalized email within 48 hours M-F with the relationship questionnaire attached. 

Am I guaranteed a match?

You are more than likely to have at least one match each month, however there is no guarantee. The matchmaking process is about aligning individuals where there is true synergy. Never making a match just for the sake of getting a date!

Are there options within the program for hookups?

No. The intention of this program are for people who are serious about finding their life-long person. The end goal is marriage; not for friendship, hookups, or casual dating.

How are you matching people?

Thanks to such a detailed questionnaire, I will be manually reading through every single form to find commonalities and pair people to the best of my ability. It’s not about if you both love the color blue. It’s about deeper issues; morals, life plans, daily living, etc that you’ll share once you start the questionnaire.

How does this program work? I just fill out the questionnaire whenever?

The sooner you fill out the questionnaire, the sooner we have our 1:1 zoom, the sooner you can be matched.

Do I have to fill out the questionnaire every single month?

No! It’s a one-time form. Once you’re in the database, you’re in and will continue to be matched. 

Is there a chance I’d be matched more than one time a month?

Yes! If you are compatible with more than just one person, I will match you with all the suitors. This is about finding love, not abiding by a pointless system. 

How will I “meet” my match?

The match introduction will happen over email where I will share both emails, a brief bio of each person, two photos of your choice, and a list of places that would suit the first date. Those places will be in a neighborhood that is typically equidistant to both people. Of course, the final decision of where to meet is up to both people, not YentaBe.

How much does this cost? 

The program is $198 a month at a three month minimum. You’re billed $596 at the beginning of each cycle. There is also a two month option for $649.

Why would I enroll in this opposed to just opening an account with JSwipe?

By all means, try the apps first if you’re nervous about this. But there is no app that is as personalized as this matchmaking. There are also no games when it comes to individualized matchmaking. Everyone here has the same intention: finding everlasting love. You complete the questionnaire honestly, receive your match, meet the person, and have the opportunity to share your honest feedback with a non-biased matchmaker (me) who organizes the second date or kindly ends the “relationship.” 

What happens after the first date?

After the first date, we will set up a 15 minute 1:1 call to review the date. From the information I collect from both partners I’ll be able to share via email the feedback I gathered and whether there’s a second date. 

At what point is the cut-off when a matchmaking relationship is going well?

After both parties declare that they’ve had 5 successful dates with one another & they don’t wish to be matched with anyone else, they can opt out of the program and continue happily dating on their own. I will check in 3-6 months later to see the status. (Even though at that point they’re likely not paying members. We all want an engagement to come from this!)

What if I want to leave the program?

You can leave the matchmaking program at the end of each three or four month period by accessing your account on SquareSpace and manually cancelling. Please kindly email your reason for cancelling in advance of doing so, so I can plan accordingly for potential matches.

What if I leave the program, but want to join again?

You can always reapply and pending how many are already enrolled you may either be immediately accepted or put on the waitlist. 

Is this only for Jewish people?

Yes! As of now, I’m starting with a very specific niche. My hope is to grow in the coming years, but for now it’s for Jewish young professionals. 

Is this for all sects of Judaism?

Yes. Reform, conservative, orthodox, “just jewish.” Whatever you wanna label yourself! 

What areas are this program for?

Tri-state area of Philly, NJ, NY. Of course, there’s always exceptions for those nearby (for instance, in Delaware). 

What ages are this program intended for? 

22-45 (you’ll be able to select exactly what age group you are interested in on the questionnaire).

Will all my answers from the questionnaire be confidential?

YES. *Except for your email, bio (created by me from your answers), interesting facts, and two photos (that you provide). 

Will you perform a background check on those I am matched with?

Upon request, I will perform a background check. The cost is $75 per person. 

Can I have a copy of the terms + conditions sheet?
